Madrasah Terms & Conditions. Please read before submitting your application.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of £30 for each child which must be paid at the time of enrolment. This covers the cost of study materials and administration fee.

The tuition fee for the Madrasah is £45 per month. We offer a siblings discount of £5 per child per month. The quickest way to pay the fees is online at www.masjidayesha.co.uk/madrasah-fees

You will be notified when the fee is due via email, Text message or letter. If the fee is not paid within 14 days of the fee notification, the student will be at risk of suspension until the fees are paid. This could disrupt the student’s education therefore we advise parents to manage their finances appropriately.

Attending the Madrasah classes is mandatory. The Madrasah opening hours are from 5:00pm – 6:30pm (Monday- Friday). In order for the student to develop and progress through the Madrasah Curriculum, it is essential that they maintain a full attendance throughout their time at the Madrasah.

Students arriving late will NOT be allowed to attend their class, unless the teacher is notified in advance by the parent/guardian.

If the student is unable to attend the Madrasah due to sickness, bereavement or any other valid reason, the parent/guardian should notify the Madrasah in advance. If there is a persistent record of the student attending late or absent, the parent/guardian will be informed and this will lead to a formal meeting.

Any holiday requests outside of official Madrasah holidays need to be requested in writing by the parent/guardian and await approval before making any arrangements. Any pre-booked holidays before admission must be declared at the time of registration.

The Madrasah will open 15 minutes before the start of the first lesson. Parent/guardians should not bring their children before the Madrasah opens as we will take no responsibility for your child arriving more than 15 minutes before the Madrasah starts if left unattended.

Parents/guardians must collect their child within 10 minutes after the final lesson. Persistent negligence of being late to collect your child – without a valid reason – could lead to your child being dismissed from the Madrasah.

The Madrasah behaviour policy applies to all students. The main aim of the Madrasah is to ensure every student and Teacher feels valued, respected and treated fairly. The Madrasah behaviour policy aims to promote an environment where everyone feels happy, safe, and secure.

We expect every student of the Madrasah to behave in a respectful way towards other students and teachers. The Madrasah rewards students with good behaviour, as it encourages them to perform better and support them in their personal and academic development.

Students who misbehave or don’t follow Madrasah rules can expect to lose certain privileges as a form of sanction. These sanctions could include loss of reward points, being removed from the class or - in the case of a serious offence - being dismissed from the Madrasah.

In the event of any damages caused to the Madrasah property, the parent/guardian will be informed. Depending on the nature and seriousness of the offence, the Madrasah will decide the penalty in line with the Madrasah Disciplinary Framework.

Apart from water breaks and any medication, eating and drinking is not allowed during the lesson. There is an exception to when the Madrasah management arranges an event/party where food will be served. Any student found to be eating or drinking during lesson will be asked to leave the class, and the parent/guardian informed. Parents/guardians must ensure the child understands this.

The Madrasah operates a Zero-Tolerance policy against bullying and harassment to staff and students. No verbal or physical abuse will be tolerated from students or parents towards teachers or other students. In the event of such an incident, for cases of gross misconduct, the child in question will be dismissed immediately.

No mobile phones, electrical device or toys are allowed in the Madrasah. If any student is found with these items; they will be confiscated.

The Madrasah has adopted a dress code in line with Islamic etiquettes of dress in order to instil an Islamic identity.

Boys - must wear either a thobe (Jubbah) or salwār qamees. The length should be above the ankles. This should be accompanied with a hat (topi).

Girls - must be dressed in a Jilbab/Abaya. They are also required to wear a full hijab (headscarf) ensuring their hair is covered fully at all times. Headscarves should be long enough to drape over the upper body.

All haircuts should be the same length according to Islamic etiquettes. Any student adopting a hairstyle which is against Islamic etiquettes, will be asked to leave the class and will only be allowed back into the class after they have rectified it. At no point would we accept a qaza hair style (This is a clear prohibition in Islam. This hairstyle is where a part of the head is shaved and other parts are kept long). All students should ensure they cut their nails regularly, and keep hair kempt.

The Madrasah is responsible for the health and safety of your child for the duration of the Madrasah opening hours only. Parents/guardians are requested not to leave children unattended if arriving early, and to ensure they arrive on time to collect them. For safety reasons, parents/guardians must not enter Madrasah classes during class times under any circumstances. All queries should be made to the madrasah office including meeting with a particular teacher or discussing progress.

If a child or parent/guardian wishes to log a complaint, please put it forward in writing or via email. We will treat the complaint in accordance to the Madrasah Complaint Handling Policy
